The first annual Clark County Knit-In was huge success! It took place on October 20th at the Clark Conuty Public Library. Check out these photos from the event!

Pattern Sources

There are oodles of sources where you can find knitting or crocheting patterns!

Here are a few websites for yarn-crafters of all ages:

On the three websites listed above, you are required to make an account in order to get access to patterns. Accounts are free, though!

Blogs are great resources, too! You can search for knitting and/or crocheting blogs that have free patterns. One blog that I would highly recommend is Alyoops! (http://aly-oops.blogspot.com/ ) Keep in mind that her patterns may be slightly above beginner level, but she's fabulous at writing patterns, and explaining them, if needed.

Books and magazines are also excellent places to find patterns. You can buy them from local craft stores, or check them out from your local library.
